Project -- Classical Electrons in a Magnetic Field

The simplest source of ODEs in physics is classical mechanics, so we choose such a problem. The dynamics of a charge in a magnetic field is described by the equation
\begin{displaymath}
m{\d\bi{v}\over \d t} = q \bi{v}\times\bi{B} - \gamma \bi{v}
\end{displaymath} (1.43)

where $m$ and $q$ are the mass and charge of the particle respectively, $\bi{B}$ is the magnetic field and $\gamma$ represents some sort of friction.
